PEVELY, MO -- March 17, 2010 -- DIRTcar UMP Racing and I-55 Raceway officials announced today the second edition of the DIRTcar UMP Roundup “Party In Pevely” will be postponed to Oct. 14-15-16, 2010.
Soggy conditions would have made it difficult for an event of this magnitude, one that features all eight divisions of DIRTcar UMP Racing, to go off without a hitch. Therefore, officials decided it was best to move the event originally scheduled for March 18-20 to the fall, where the inaugural event lived up to its moniker, the Party in Pevely.

Defending DIRTcar UMP Late Model national titlist Jason Feger of Bloomington, Ill., heads a long list of Midwestern drivers who are expected to invade I-55 Raceway from March 18-20 for the DIRTcar UMP Roundup, an early-season showcase of UMP's eight sanctioned divisions that's also known as the 'Party in Pevely.'

The Ken Schrader/Ray Marler own high-banked 1/3 mile dirt oval located in Pevely, MO is the only track that UMP DIRTcar will showcase all eight of their divisions in one event during the 2010 racing season. The track is well known for providing great two and three wide racing action that keeps fans on the edge of their seats!

Pevely, MO – October 15, 2009 – Inclement weather has forced officials to move the second annual “DIRTcar Roundup: Party in Pevely” to March 18-20, 2010.
An event built on the ideals of late UMP DIRTcar founder Bob Memmer, the Party in Pevely provides an opportunity for the stars in UMP DIRTcar Racing's eight weekly divisions to show their stuff against rivals from various regions.
“The Party in Pevely should be a party, but with the rain that keeps falling as fast as the temperatures are dropping and as the cold wind blows out of the north it's just not going to be a whole lot of fun for anybody,” said I-55 Raceway promoter Ray Marler. “The best thing to do is reset the weekend for March knowing the conditions should be much for favorable for the Party in Pevely.”
