County Sheriff issues this reminder - Missouri Revised Code PROHIBITS unlicensed motorized vehicles from being on ANY public roadways at ANY time. Violators will be cited, fined and subject to 3 days in jail.

A. GENERAL RULES
1. All motorized vehicles on Speedway property must prominently display an official I-55 Raceway Operator Permit at all times. Motorized vehicle shall include Golf Carts, Scooters, 4 wheelers, customs carts or devices.
2. The Operator Permit Application must be filed, and paid for, in person, with the motorized vehicle present.
3. The $25 non-transferable Operator Permit is issued on an annual basis. Permits that have been altered or tampered with shall be void.
4. Operators must hold a valid driver’s license.
5. Motorized vehicles intended to be used after dark shall be equipped with headlights or other sufficient lighting sources.
6. Motorized vehicles may not be operated during designated ‘quiet times’ as announced by Speedway official.

B. OPERATION OF MOTORIZED VEHICLES
1. Motorized vehicles are not to be operated in a manner that may endanger passengers and /or any other patrons on the grounds of I-55 Raceway. Excessive speeds will not be tolerated. Operators must yield to pedestrians at all times.
2. STATE LAW – OPEN alcoholic beverages are not permitted in any motorized vehicles. No one under the influence of alcohol may operate a motorized vehicle.
3. Vehicles are not to be overloaded, i.e. carrying more passengers that for the seating provided.
4. Motorized vehicles are restricted to the designated driveways and paths within the parking lots of I-55 Raceway. There shall be no driving on any roadways, landscaping, etc. Motorized vehicles may not be chained to any trees, signposts, etc.

C. PARKING REGULATIONS
1. Vehicles can only be parked within areas designated by proper signage and / or as announced over the I-55 Raceway public address system.
2. Vehicles must be parked within these areas in such a fashion that they do not block or impede entrance to buildings, stairways, or designated handicapped areas.
Violation of these regulations will result in the Vehicle being impounded for the remainder of the event, revocation of the Operating Permit and possible expulsion of the operator from the property, with NO REFUND.

I-55 RACEWAY IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ACCIDENTS-INJURIES-THEFT ASSOCIATED WITH THE USE OF A MOTORIZED VEHICLE AT I-55 RACEWAY.
